This Week We
read and performed the play, “Ranita, the Frog Princess” in Literacy. We worked in two different groups to rehearse
and perform this cute fairy tale. We
also worked on writing our Super Hero books and we learned about the Civil
War. We worked with Mr. Hazelton on our
NH Cups song and reviewed all the skills for Unit 2 in Math: multiplication,
division, multiples, prime/composite numbers, algebra and word problems.
Next Week
We will celebrate the end of 2013 with a Harry Potter/Hogwarts themed
week. We will have fun doing academic
tasks related to our reading of Harry Potter, as well as work on many craft
type projects for Christmas time. We
will be sorted, finally get wands…..and work on a number of other highly
anticipated things. There is a lot to
look forward to next week! We have many
projects that we want to get finished...so we will be busy working like house
elves! We will end the week with our
Christmas Brunch on Friday morning.
